Bulk-deleting or marking as read
Once you’ve selected multiple volumes, you can mark them all as completed or remove them from your collection in one action.
How to bulk-mark as read
- Long-press a manga to enter selection mode, then tap others to add to the selection.
- In the bulk actions bar, tap the Read icon (a checkmark or book icon).
- All selected volumes are marked as Completed with their
finishedReadingAtset to the current time.
You’ll see a confirmation toast and selection mode exits.
This is great when you finish a long series in one sitting and don’t want to mark each volume individually.
How to bulk-delete
- Enter selection mode and select the volumes you want to remove.
- Tap the Delete icon in the bulk actions bar.
- A confirmation modal appears showing how many volumes you’re about to delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
What gets deleted
When you delete a volume:
- It’s removed from your collection (cloud + local).
- Any reading progress, condition, custom value, and shelf assignments are lost.
- It’s removed from any active lending records.
- The deletion syncs across all your signed-in devices.
Deletion is permanent — there’s no undo. If you accidentally delete and you have an export of your data, you can re-import. Otherwise, you’d need to re-add by scanning.
What if I want to remove a volume from one shelf without deleting?
Deletion removes the volume from your collection entirely. To remove from just a shelf, open the manga detail page and tap the shelf badge to uncheck the shelf. The volume stays in your Library.
Bulk-mark as unread or reading?
The bulk actions bar only supports marking as Completed for now. To mark a batch as Unread or Reading, you’ll need to do it volume by volume from each manga detail page. We may add this in a future update.
Bulk actions and reading achievements
Marking volumes as Completed via bulk-mark does count toward reading achievements. Each marked volume increments your completed_count and contributes to series-completion achievements.
Tips
- Filter before bulk-marking. If you’ve finished a whole series, filter to that series first, select all, then mark as read.
- Be careful with bulk-delete. It’s irreversible. The confirmation modal asks for confirmation specifically because of how easy it is to mis-tap.
- Bulk-delete is great for cleaning up Quick Scan mistakes. If you accidentally Quick-Scanned a stack and several were duplicates or wrong, bulk-delete is your fix.
