Creating your account

You’ll need a Manga Vault account to scan, sync, and back up your collection across devices.

Sign up with email

1. On the welcome screen, tap Sign Up (or Don’t have an account? Sign Up from the sign-in screen).
2. Enter your email address and a password.
3. Confirm your password.
4. Choose whether you’d like occasional tips and updates from us (this is optional — you can change it later).
5. Tap Create Account.

We’ll email you a 6-digit verification code. See Verifying your email for the next step.

Password requirements

Your password must be at least 8 characters and contain:

• At least one uppercase letter
• At least one lowercase letter
• At least one number
• At least one special character (e.g. !, @, #, $)

Use a password manager if you can — it’s the safest way to store a strong password.

Sign up with Apple or Google

You’ll also see Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google buttons on the sign-up screen. These let you create an account without setting a separate password — just authenticate with your Apple ID or Google account and you’re in.

Terms and Privacy

When you create an account, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We never sell your data, and you can delete your account and all your data at any time from Settings.

What happens next

After verifying your email, you’ll land on the Home tab. From there, head to the Scan tab and start adding volumes — or take the app tour first.

Trouble signing up?

• “Email is required” or “Please enter a valid email” — Check that you’ve typed your email correctly and that it includes the @ symbol.
• Password rejected — Re-check the requirements above. The most common miss is forgetting the special character.
• “User already exists” — You might already have an account. Try signing in or resetting your password.
