Resetting a forgotten password
If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it using your email address. The whole process takes about a minute.
How to reset
Step 1 — Request a code
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?.
- Enter the email address you signed up with.
- Tap Send Reset Code.
We’ll email you a 6-digit reset code. Check your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case).
Step 2 — Enter the code and a new password
- On the Reset Password screen, enter the 6-digit code from your email.
- Enter a new password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Tap Reset Password.
You’ll see a success message and we’ll send you back to the sign-in screen automatically. Sign in with your new password and you’re all set.
Password requirements
Your new password must be at least 8 characters and contain:
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character (e.g.
!,@,#,$)
Used the wrong email?
If you typed the wrong email at Step 1, tap Use a different email on the code-entry screen to start over.
Trouble resetting?
- No reset email arrived — Check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, your email address may not be registered. Try signing up instead.
- “Invalid verification code” — The code may have expired (codes are good for about an hour) or you may have tapped Send Reset Code more than once and pulled an older code. Tap Use a different email to start over and use the most recent email we sent.
