MV Manga Vault Help

The Releases calendar

The Releases calendar shows you what’s coming out in the manga world over the next several weeks. It’s a great way to plan upcoming buys, anticipate your favorite series, and discover what’s launching.

How to access it

  • From the Home tab, tap the Releases Spotlight banner — the prominent card at the top of the page that previews what’s coming this week.
  • The calendar opens to a weekly overview.

Layout

Each week is shown as its own horizontally scrolling row of release cards. The current week (“This Week”) is highlighted at the top. Future weeks scroll downward.

Each release card shows:

  • Cover art
  • Title and volume number
  • Release date
  • A “Following” badge if the series is in your collection

Filtering: My Series vs All Releases

A toggle at the top of the calendar lets you switch between two views:

  • My Series — Only shows upcoming releases from series you already collect.
  • All Releases — Shows every upcoming volume in our catalog, regardless of whether you collect the series.

See My Series vs All Releases for details.

”See All” — the week detail page

Each weekly row has a See All link in the corner. Tapping it opens a full-screen vertical list of every release in that week, with extra detail on each (publisher, ISBN, MSRP). See The week detail page.

Tapping a release

Tap any release card or row to jump to that volume’s series page in the catalog. From there you can:

  • Add the volume to your wishlist.
  • See the full series and which volumes you already own.
  • Set a notification for when it releases (when notifications launch).

Pull-to-refresh

The releases data caches for a few hours. To force a refresh — useful if you just published a request that was approved — pull down on the calendar to reload.

Why are some weeks empty?

Some weeks genuinely have few or no upcoming releases (publishers schedule big drops in clusters). Empty weeks are still shown with a brief “No releases this week” note.
