Quick Scan mode (PRO)
Quick Scan is a PRO-only mode that auto-adds matched volumes to your collection without showing the confirmation modal. It’s the fastest way to add a lot of manga at once — perfect for cataloging your shelves the first time, unboxing a Kinokuniya haul, or processing a stack from a comic shop.

How to use Quick Scan
- Open the Scan tab.
- Tap the Quick Scan toggle at the top of the screen to turn it on (PRO only).
- Start scanning barcodes one after another.
- Each successful match is auto-added to your collection as Owned, with a brief on-screen confirmation toast — no modal interruption.
To turn off Quick Scan, tap the toggle again. The Scan tab returns to its normal “show a modal for every scan” behavior.
What auto-adds and what doesn’t

Why is Quick Scan PRO?
It’s a big quality-of-life upgrade for collectors with shelves of dozens or hundreds of volumes. We’d rather keep the FREE tier focused on the core scan-confirm-add flow, where each volume gets attention before being added.
Tips for high-volume sessions
- Pre-flatten covers. Stack the volumes you’re about to scan with the barcode side up so you can flow through them quickly.
- Take breaks every 50–100 scans. Your phone will warm up — that’s normal but not great long-term.
- Watch for the toast. Each success briefly shows a confirmation. If you miss one, check your Library afterward.
- Don’t be afraid to turn it off. If a volume comes up Not Found and you want to request it, just toggle Quick Scan off, tap the result, and submit the request.
Adjusting condition or details after the fact
Quick Scan adds volumes with default settings (Owned, Good condition, quantity 1). To change condition, mark as Wishlist, set custom value, or anything else, just tap the volume in your Library after the fact and edit it from the manga detail screen.
I don’t see the Quick Scan toggle
