What PRO unlocks
Manga Vault PRO is a paid subscription tier that adds power-user features on top of the FREE experience. Here’s everything PRO unlocks.
Unlimited collection size
The FREE tier supports up to 50 owned volumes. PRO removes this cap entirely — collect as many as you want.
This is the single biggest reason most users upgrade. Active manga collectors typically have hundreds of volumes; FREE 50-volume cap is comfortable for casual users but constraining for power users.
Quick Scan
Auto-add scanned volumes without confirmation modals. Perfect for cataloging large libraries.
Premium themes
In addition to the default Violet theme, PRO unlocks four premium themes:
- Ocean (blue gradient)
- Sakura (pink gradient)
- Ember (orange gradient)
- Matcha (green gradient)
Collection Value tracking
Estimated dollar value of your entire collection, calculated from MSRP, condition, and custom values.

Custom value overrides
Per-volume custom dollar amounts for signed copies, rare editions, or volumes worth more than MSRP suggests.
Advanced statistics
Deeper breakdowns of your collection — by genre, publisher, author, value tier, condition, format, and more.
Unlimited custom shelves
FREE limits you to 3 custom shelves; PRO removes the cap. Organize your collection however you want.
Data export
Export your full collection (owned, wishlist, all metadata) as JSON or CSV. JSON is FREE; CSV is PRO.
Avatar and cover image uploads
PRO unlocks custom avatar photos and cover images on your profile. FREE users use built-in icon avatars.
Higher request rate limit
Submit up to 100 catalog requests per hour (vs 30 for FREE).

Manga Vault is a small operation. Subscriptions fund:
- AWS hosting and infrastructure
- Catalog maintenance and continuous expansion
- App development and updates
- Customer support
The FREE tier is genuinely useful for casual collectors. PRO is for users who get more value out of the app and want to support its development.
How to upgrade
Pricing
Pricing is shown in the upgrade flow and depends on your country/region. We currently offer monthly and annual plans, with the annual plan offering a discount.
When PRO expires
If you cancel or your subscription lapses:
- Your data is preserved.
- PRO features become unavailable.
- Quick Scan turns off.
- Premium themes revert to Violet.
- Collection Value hides ($ ---).
- You’re capped at 3 custom shelves (existing shelves stay).
- You’re capped at 50 owned volumes for new additions (existing volumes stay).
