Upgrading to PRO

Upgrading to PRO is done through your phone’s app store (Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android). The transaction is handled by Apple/Google — Manga Vault never sees your payment information.

How to upgrade

Open the Settings tab (or any of the upgrade-prompt screens throughout the app).
Tap Upgrade to PRO.
The PRO upgrade screen appears showing plan options (monthly and annual).
Pick a plan.
Confirm the purchase via your phone’s standard purchase flow:
- iOS — Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
- Android — Your Google account password or fingerprint.
Wait a few seconds for confirmation.

You’re now PRO. PRO features unlock immediately — premium themes, Quick Scan, Collection Value, etc. all light up.

Plans

We offer two plans:

Monthly — Recurring monthly charge. Easy to cancel any time.
Annual — Discount vs paying monthly for a year. Charged annually.

Specific prices vary by country (Apple and Google handle regional pricing).

Where the charge happens

iOS — Through your Apple ID. The charge appears on your Apple receipt.
Android — Through your Google account. The charge appears on your Google Play receipt.

Manga Vault doesn’t see your credit card. We receive a portion of the subscription revenue from Apple/Google after their fees.

Apple’s Family Sharing feature lets you share PRO with up to 5 family members on the same Apple ID family. To enable, manage Family Sharing from Apple’s Settings app.

We don’t have a separate “Family plan” — we use Apple’s built-in feature.

We may offer promo codes for free trials or discounts. Redeem at:

iOS — Apple App Store → tap your profile → Redeem Gift Card or Code.
Android — Google Play Store → Menu → Redeem.

Once redeemed, the discount applies to your Manga Vault subscription automatically.

Linked accounts

Your PRO subscription is tied to:

The Apple ID that paid (on iOS).
The Google account that paid (on Android).

Within Manga Vault, your PRO status syncs to your Manga Vault account, so signing in on multiple devices with the same Manga Vault account preserves PRO across them — as long as the original purchasing Apple ID / Google account is still active.

Cross-platform PRO

If you bought PRO on iOS and switch to Android (or vice versa), your subscription doesn’t transfer automatically — Apple and Google manage separate subscriptions. You’d need to:

Cancel the original on the platform that bought it.
Re-subscribe on the new platform.

We’re working on a more seamless cross-platform experience.

What if the upgrade fails?

If the upgrade flow errors out:

Check your internet connection.
Verify your Apple/Google payment method is valid.
Try again in a few minutes.

If the issue persists, contact support.

Receipt and proof of purchase

Your receipt is in your Apple Receipts (iOS) or Google Play Order History (Android). We don’t email receipts — Apple/Google handle that.

Refunds

Refund policies are set by Apple and Google, not Manga Vault. To request a refund:

iOS — reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple’s refund portal).
Android — Google Play Help → Refund policy.

We can’t directly refund you, but we’ll do our best to support your refund request if you contact us.
