MV Manga Vault Help

A tour of the five tabs

Manga Vault has five main tabs at the bottom of the screen. Here’s what each one does.

Home

Your dashboard. The Home tab shows:

  • Continue Reading — Volumes you’ve started but haven’t finished, sorted by what you picked up most recently.
  • Recently Added — The latest volumes you’ve added to your collection.
  • Your Series — A horizontal-scroll preview of every series you collect.
  • Wishlist — A horizontal-scroll preview of volumes you’ve added to your wishlist.
  • Releases Spotlight — A banner showing what’s coming out this week, especially for series you follow.
  • Your collection at a glance — Quick stats: total volumes, completion rate, and (with PRO) collection value.

Library

The full view of every volume you own or have wishlisted. The Library tab supports:

  • Grid or list view — Toggle between cover art grid (great for browsing visually) and a list view (better for scanning lots of volumes quickly).
  • Filters — Status (Owned / Wishlist), read status (Unread / Reading / Completed), shelf assignments.
  • Sort — By added date, title, series, or rating.
  • Search — Type to filter by title or series.
  • Bulk actions — Long-press a volume to enter selection mode, then assign multiple volumes to shelves at once or delete them.

Scan

Where the magic happens. Point your camera at the barcode on the back of a manga volume and we’ll match it to our catalog automatically. The Scan tab also includes:

  • Manual ISBN entry — Type the 13-digit ISBN if you can’t get a clean barcode read.
  • Quick Scan (PRO) — Auto-add scanned volumes without confirming each one. Great for adding lots of volumes back-to-back.

Browse

Discover new manga to read. The Browse (Discover) tab includes:

  • Genre browsing — Tap a genre tag to see series in that category.
  • For You / Because You Own — Recommendations based on what’s already in your collection.
  • Hidden Gems & Trending — Curated lists of series worth checking out.
  • Releases calendar — See what’s coming out this week, this month, and beyond.

Social

Friends, achievements, and your collector profile. The Social tab includes:

  • Profile card — Your avatar, username, level, and stats.
  • Quick actions — Jump straight to Collection Value (PRO) or the Lending Tracker.
  • Friends section — Add friends, see who’s active, view their profiles.
  • Your Stats — Tabs for an overview, reading progress, and collection breakdown.
  • Monthly Wrapped — A shareable monthly recap of your activity.
  • Achievements — All the milestones you’ve unlocked and the ones you’re working toward.

Switching between tabs

Tap any tab icon at the bottom of the screen. Tab switches are instant — no loading state. You can also swipe between certain inner sections (like the Stats tabs in the Social tab).
