Free trial / introductory offer

Manga Vault may offer a free trial of PRO so you can try out premium features before committing. Trial availability and length vary; here’s what to expect.

Checking if a trial is available

The PRO upgrade screen shows current offers. If a free trial is available, you’ll see something like:

“7 days free, then $X.XX/month”
“Try PRO free for 14 days”

If no trial is shown, the standard subscription pricing is in effect — no trial currently offered.

Starting a trial

To start a trial:

Open the PRO upgrade screen.
Pick the plan with a trial offer.
Confirm via your Apple ID / Google account.
The trial begins immediately.

Note: starting a trial requires a valid payment method on your Apple/Google account, even though no charge happens during the trial. You’ll be charged automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.

During the trial

You have full access to all PRO features:

Premium themes
Unlimited shelves
Unlimited collection
Advanced stats
Data export
All the rest

There’s no “trial-only mode” — it’s the full PRO experience.

How to cancel before being charged

Critical: if you don’t want to be charged when the trial ends, cancel before the trial expires.

iOS

Open Settings on your iPhone.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Find Manga Vault.
Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Trial).

You’ll keep PRO access through the end of the trial period; you just won’t be auto-charged.

Android

Open the Google Play Store.
Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Find Manga Vault.
Tap Cancel subscription.

Same — access continues through the trial end.

What happens when the trial ends

If you don’t cancel:

You’re charged for the first paid period (month or year, depending on plan).
PRO continues seamlessly — same features, no service interruption.
Cancelling later still gives you PRO until the end of the period you paid for.

If you cancel during the trial:

You’re not charged.
PRO features remain active until the trial period ends.
After the trial ends, you fall back to FREE tier.

Eligibility

Trials are typically per-user (or per Apple ID / Google account). Once you’ve used a trial:

You generally can’t start another trial for the same product on the same account.
You can subscribe directly without trying again.

This is enforced by Apple/Google, not by us.

If we issue a promo code for a free trial or extended trial, redeem through:

iOS — Apple App Store → tap your profile → Redeem Code.
Android — Google Play Store → Menu → Redeem.

The trial benefit applies automatically.

Trial during seasonal promotions

We may run promotional trials during specific events (e.g., new manga release seasons, anniversary). Watch our newsletter (if you’re on the marketing list) and the in-app upgrade screen for these.

Tip: Cancel immediately if you’re not sure

If you start a trial just to test PRO and aren’t sure about subscribing:

Start the trial.
Immediately cancel via Apple/Google settings.
Continue to enjoy PRO for the full trial period.

You’re not charged unless you let the trial expire without cancelling. Cancelling early just removes the auto-renew — you don’t lose access.
