Reading achievements

The Reading category of achievements rewards you for engaging with the volumes you own — marking them as Reading or Completed, logging pages, finishing series, and re-reading favorites.

Notable reading achievements

First Page Turned

Unlocked the first time you log reading progress on any volume. Awards a small but meaningful XP bonus — your first step into page-tracking mode.

Bookworm tiers

A series of achievements that reward Completed volume counts:

• Baby Bookworm — Complete your first 5 manga.
• Bookworm — Complete 25 manga.
• Mega Bookworm — Complete 100 manga.

(Higher tiers may exist or be added.)

Multi-Tasker / Juggling Act

For having multiple volumes in Reading status simultaneously:

• Multi-Tasker — 3 or more volumes in Reading status at once.
• Juggling Act — 10 or more volumes in Reading status at once.

A reward for being an active multi-volume reader.

Page Turner / Speed Reader / Reading Machine

For total pages read across all volumes:

• Page Turner — Read 1,000 pages total.
• Speed Reader — Read 5,000 pages total.
• Reading Machine — Read 10,000 pages total.

These count cumulative pages logged on volumes you’ve completed (page count × number of completed reads).

Old Favorite / Nostalgia Trip

For re-reading volumes:

• Old Favorite — Re-read 1 manga (any volume read more than once).
• Nostalgia Trip — Re-read 5 manga.

Series Completionist

Complete every volume in a multi-volume series. Awards more XP for longer series.

How progress is tracked

For volume-count achievements (Bookworm, Page Turner, etc.), the count is calculated from your collection’s reading data:

• completedCount — Number of volumes with reading status Completed.
• currentlyReadingCount — Number of volumes with reading status Reading.
• totalPagesRead — Sum of (currentPage if Reading) + (totalPages × timesRead if Completed).
• rereadCount — Number of volumes with timesRead > 1.

These update in real-time as you log progress.

Tips to earn reading achievements

• Log reading progress — even informally. Bumping +10 pages a few times a week unlocks Page Turner faster than you’d expect.
• Mark Completed when you finish — That’s the trigger for completion-tier achievements.
• Re-read your favorites — Even a brief skim qualifies; the goal is “re-read” as a recorded action.

Privacy

Your reading achievements are visible to friends when Show Achievements is on (it’s on by default). They see the count and tier, not the specific timing of when you unlocked them.
