Refer a friend — give a month, get a month
Know another collector? Manga Vault’s referral program rewards you both: when a friend signs up with your invite code, they get one free month of PRO — and once they’ve been active for a week, you get a free month too. Requires app version 1.0.4 or later.
Where to find it
- Social tab → Invite Friends, or
- Settings → Subscription → Invite Friends
Your invite code is the same as your friend code (it looks like MANGA-XXXX-XXXX).
Sharing your invite
From the Invite Friends screen you can:
- Copy the code to paste anywhere.
- Share Invite — sends a message with your code and a link (
mangavault.app/invite/YOUR-CODE). - Share as Image — a shareable invite card, great for Instagram stories.
Your friend’s side
- They install Manga Vault and create an account.
- They enter your code — either by tapping your invite link (it fills in automatically) or via “Have an invite code?” during sign-up.
- Their free month of PRO is applied, and you’re automatically added as friends in the app.
A few rules to know:
- Invite codes work during a new account’s first week — they’re for joining, not retroactive.
- Each account can redeem one invite code, ever.
- You can’t redeem your own code.
Tracking your referrals
The Invite Friends screen lists everyone who joined with your code, with a status chip:
- Pending — they joined; your reward vests after they’ve been active for about a week.
- Vested / Granted — your free month is on its way or already applied.
- Expired — the referral didn’t complete.
How your free month arrives
It depends on your current plan — but in every case it’s a real month of PRO:
- Free tier — the month is applied to your account automatically. Enjoy PRO.
- Monthly subscriber on iPhone — you receive an App Store offer code. A reward card appears on the Invite Friends screen with a one-tap Redeem Free Month button (we also email you the code). See Redeeming an offer code.
- Monthly subscriber on Android — your next bill is automatically pushed out by a month. Nothing to do.
- Annual subscriber — your month is banked and applied automatically if your subscription ever lapses, so it’s never wasted.
Fair use
Referral rewards are capped at 3 per rolling 90 days and 12 free months per year — plenty for genuinely sharing with friends. The full details live in our Terms of Service.
